Dont you think its a bit late to complain? We had a full week to discuss maps and when it gets posted on the PR forums it suddenly is "too green".

Dear Buschi,
First and foremost there is a fine distinction between complaining and raising a concern. I just made another suggestion to take in concideration, because the map choices felt a little bit too green. But maybe it is Environment Day tomorrow and I just didn't knew. ;)
Furthermore I didn't knew that it's "too late" to bring in my thoughts to the map discussion thread one day before the event is happening. I'm sorry that I don't think about this 24/7 and therefore visit this thread only once in a while.
Regards

According to the internet, today is 'Suicide Prevention Day' although we can probably expand it to 'Suicide and Team-Kill Prevention Day'

Until the evening. Cheers, Murkey.

Re: Joint Operations Map Discussion
Well that is bullshit. We built 2 fobs before we walked to towards your flag. Not even close to rush. The problem was that you guys didn't organize your squads and didn't even try seriously. We only killed you all so easily because you were all spread out and we had squads working together. Maybe its that mentality you shouldn't "tryhard" when server is seeding and stuff. We didn't even push to your last flag because we didn't want the map to end[KSK]Eichhoernsche hat geschrieben:Next Week:

I was pretty pissed at Asad Khal.
I started building FOBs around our 1st white flag because we had about 15 active people on our side (3 KSKs, maybe 6 NEWs and some publics) in the beginning asI thought we're starting slow to seed the server.
I thought that the other team (15 ducks + x, including admins ) will think the same way - Well, I was completely wrong and faced 2 duck squads after building my 2nd FOB. There was no "real" other squad to fight them until more people arrived and so we we're heavily steamrolled in the beginning. (KD: 1:50)
I'm pretty sure that this won't happen next time again. If I see 15 people from one clan stacking on one side having only 40 ppl on the server:
- I will DEMAND everybody to have a slow start at the beginning and not rush as hell if teams are not balanced because people are still joining
- If this doesn't work I might need to distribute those guys (at least with that playerbase in the current round).

Friado, it's alaws nice to see more activity in this topic, but you're just repeating what I wrote, but you know, less diplomaticallyMurkey hat geschrieben: As for what Eichhoernsche says, I agree that the balance last week wasn't ideal and was very happy that as Asad Khal progressed things evened out. The 50:1 kdr was pretty bad after the first 20 minutes, but I don't think the issue was rushing. The IDF team built 3 FOBs before moving in as well, but from 2 squads, so we probably got across the river faster. After that I asked the rest of the team to dig in and let the fight build up in one area instead of an out-cap that would have hindered seeding (and spawning). Obviously the main cause was having lots of ducks turn up on time and then stack one side. This week we can be more conscious of balance, especially at lower server numbers and swap people around, at least for the first map, if not throughout.

Let's try and improve on last week tonight.
Cheers, Murkey.
