Taking viewers to the new setting of Tajikistan, two CH 53E Super Stallion helicopters carrying US Marines swoop along the Vakhsh River, showing the beautiful and epic landscapes which will become bloody battlegrounds in a deadly flashpoint. As one Marine films the unfolding action on his digital video camera, hostiles attack the helicopters, forcing evasive action and return fire from the rear gunners.
“Our goal is to take gamers as close to the experience of being a US Marine as possible, in both single-player and co-op,†said Sion Lenton, Creative Director, Operation Flashpoint: Red River. “From the tactics Marines use to the weapons they deploy and even the way that they interact with each other, this objective is core to everything that goes in the game. You will be able to play 4 different classes, the Grenadier, Scout, Rifleman and Automatic Rifleman each offer different strengths and weaknesses and combine to create a fearsome fighting unit.
