Re: Joint Operations Map Discussion
In the last campaign rotation playing the battle maps on JO helped both teams as practiseground and also helped to get a serious and well trained playerbase early on. I would recommend this as well!

Re: Joint Operations Map Discussion
Yamalia AAS Alt (APC layout for Mech inf)
Iron Ridge Ins Inf
Gaza Beach
For the past two weeks the maps from JO are being set after the server becomes full, that's why Yamalia goes first and smaller map last (so the server doesn't die).
Yamalia APC layout is pretty fun for teamwork. Inf doesn't have to fight vs tanks and have answer against apcs (LAT).
Iron Ridge Ins is rarely played and fun, since insurgents have proper kits like in dragon fly they can play like a proper squad.
I've picked Gaza with a thought that it will be too late for a larger map. Maybe there are other suggestions for this? Currently we have 2 green maps with AK's.

Re: Joint Operations Map Discussion
We could switch Iron Ridge with Gaza to not play 2 "green" maps in a row ;
or maybe postpone Iron Ridge to next week and play Qwai River Inf ("greenish" but no AKs there ;))

Re: Joint Operations Map Discussion
For me it makes no sense to play an 1 km map when the server is full (or close to full) and when it gets empty we play a 2 km map ....
So either look for another 2 km map that is not green in the middle or go for the first one since I don't get the point with the 2 "green" maps. If we do map votes this happens quite often. Further more I would not play 2 Inf maps right after each other people do not like Inf that much to paly 2 of em in a row. (I assume here you are going for gaza inf since std is quite an unbalanced layer).
My suggestion
Yamalia AAS ALT
Jabal AAS STD ( No Ak's yay
)
Gaza Beach AAS INF
This would bring us the classic woodland, desert, urban thing and we have a big map in the beginning, a 2km map as a second map in case numbers drop early/we start late and a small INF map in the end to keep the server up and running till the end.

Re: Joint Operations Map Discussion
Maybe lets try Wanda Shan AAS Inf instead of Jabal? It's only 425 tickets and very rarely played.
