Not much more to add from my perspectice. La Drang was better then expected, on normal occasions I don't join Vietnam maps, but this round was quite fun, looking forward for more! (but please no night-maps U.U)

The first half of Kashan was my personal highlight, I had a lot of fun with you [KSK] guys defending this bunker. But the fun started to fade quickly when we tried to reach further north and got totally cut of from supplies/reinforcement. Plus the final rape by armor was a little humiliating, but hey: this stuff just happens sometimes. +1 from me for the "council"vote for commander-resign.

Saaremaa was fun and felt more organized, but I couldnt play the whole round, it got kinda late.

All in all: it was a fun night and, for me personally, noticeable that everybody tried to show more respect, dedication and teamwork than on $randompubday.

Freue mich auf nächste Woche! :)

Im pretty much convinced that the MEC commander did a great job on Kashan, seriously!
All the asset squads didnt manage to support the infantry, thats why we've lost.

I was leading a squad (KSK+smurfs) on MEC side and we tried to defend east southbunker. WGP lost the west bunker pretty fast and tried to get it back instead of leaving it and just fall back to the southern bunker. So once the whole Canadian team attacked us we were all trapped in one bunker, altough we did a pretty good job defending it for atleast 20 minutes. At this time the the commander spoted everything around bunkers and reported tanks n stuff all over the map, he even tried to get the others squads to help us out but unfotunately all squads were busy doin nothing sitting in C8.

CAS was down everytime you really need it, 4 friendly tanks in A1 and our APCs hiding somewhere west of bunkers. In the meantime an enemy tank managed to sneak into southbunker. (hows that even possible when the commander spotted it on the map?)

So because of this tank all squads refused to help us, the APCs didnt want to engage the infantry ontop of our bunker, CAS was down again and our tanks aswell...

No need to say that i dont like these heavy assetlayouts.

Sareema was even worse. We just got one transport chopper the whole round with a small! supplycrate. While the enemy team had lots of FOBs all over supply depot we just got one way to far from flagrange. I think WGP did a good job defending lighthouse, but the other squads, including my squad were just lonewulfing without that much communication. The commander didnt do much about it, no orders, just gave a bit intel from UAV once asked.

In the end we managed to cap supply depot but i really dont know how we did this, probably just because the other team was bored and left the server.

my apc squad on kashan protected you well until the tank came.. my apcs needed to pull back while our tanks been somewhere else on the map fighting instead of supporting the bunker area.. then after the tanks went all lost the entire tank squad was camping the repairstation in main instead helping defending SV or attacking SB. totally useless and wasted..

my opinion is still the same as before.. JTF is not really better than public.. but it can only getting better.. i have some ideas to improve it.

First we need a better promotion on the New Era Portal each JTF Night.. Then we need to Password the server.. Aslong its not locked it is still is public.. anybody can join without supporting the spirit of JTF. So when its Thursday we put the promotion on the Portal for erverybody to read. Including the Rules and stuff and that the password will be handed out only in our Teamspeak. So we can make sure that anybody who asks for the password agrees the rules and support the spirit of JTF. And we can sort out players witout mic and non english geman speaking players.. just a few ideas.. to be continued

IMO we are developing in the right direction. Just remind everyone that it's JFT at the beginning of each round. I don't see the server full for 3 rounds if we've got a password on it.

Im against a passworded server. The lack of organisation we had was not a problem with "public" players, some squads just had not the right mission and didnt know what to do, thats not a problem about clantags or no clantags. It should be fun to clans and communities, veteran players and casuals and spread the teamwork idea even to people who not expiered a organized match in PR yet.
"If they are interested they will just look at the NEW HP" ...no they wont if the server is full and they have to type a password. joining a full server will be pain also for everyone with the password if its full. Hold the server open for public to force players in the right direction, if they dont want to follow they will be kicked.

I totally agree with ghostfool. A password could destroy the whole story...

21.11.13 JFT Feedback:

1. Gaza was nice on IDF side because of 3-4 strong INF Sq
2. Vadso, Dovre: We need a better team balance... On my side we had 2/3 publics...
3. Next time all ARC*s on one side or 50/50, so we can use the JFT as training.
4. We should have more admins and experienced commanders.
5. Support (Trans, APCs, Mortars, ....) should be organized by the Clans/Communitys

21.11.13 JFT Feedback:
1. Gaza Beach: I believe IDF won? Gaza is counterstrike with 50 players. I was medic in Naked’s squad, and I had such a hard time catching up while reviving the squad. Jesus, how can you play this game as SM, especially as medic?
2. Vadso City: Was CO the first 30mins then left, I spotted for the MORTARs. The GB team had great momentum and coordination, without talking that much to each other.
3. Dovre: Joined in late, was also CO but I focused on building FOBS instead of operating the UAV. Can't even tell who won.

Overall yesterday wasn’t as great as the JFT last week. Teams were unbalanced, the whole evening. Lack of communication and interest to work together.

cheers,
Curry.

Ill happily do a whole night of mortars, if we get a 5+ man squad of people who are up for it and can manage to not move theire asses irl and ingame for ~4h ;)

I enjoyed Dovre btw, we had a real nice skirmish going on that southern map end. Vadso was one steamroll though.
