got banned last friday 30/8

Hi,

Me and Pirkman was banned last Friday if my memory serves me right. We were playing Operation Marlin and and were manning a BTR or Beast for the MEC team. We were RTB:ing for reload when I got banned without any warning and within a few minutes Pirkman was banned too.

Since we didn't get any warnings I'd like to know what I/we were doing that resulted in this ban without any warning.

I didn't found any Ban-reports about you and Pirkman in our internal Forums.

Are you sure that it wasn't only a time-ban or a kick?

The Admin who banned you will (hopefully) get back to you as fast as posspible.

Thanks for looking in to it. I don't know if its a time-ban or not but I haven't been able to join since I got banned.

Edit: Btw is it common practice to ban without warning or a proper ban message? I'm merely asking because I find it a bit unfair to the player

Banning without a warning is not acceptable when your actions aren't that devastating.

Example:
If you were Roadkilling, we warn first, then we kick , and then we usually temban or ban.
On the other side, if you start griefing an totally go nuts we ban without further warning.

Since the responsible Admin hasn't answered yet and i stil haven't found a Ban-report, i think your ban can be lifted.

But i think that we will give the admin still a little bit of time until i take further actions.

I was the banning admin..

You have been reportet the first time for raping the US main with AAV on Khamishan..I warned one of your Squadmates who turned right away and went back north.. But you stayed on position close to US main. And to avoid that you destroy any assets i react fast and killed you for not moving away.

The case was closed for me but then on the next Round (Marlin) you have been reportet again for Baserape with an APC and in fact that was the secondtime of baserape i banned you (Squadleader) and kicked Pirkmann (Squadmember)

I didnt wrote a banreport because i didnt want you banned for ever..i just wanted you to join our forum so i can talk to you outside the gamechat. Baserape is a lame tactic and i am tired to warn every round so i started an example on you.. Please read our Rules and agree with them and i agree to unban you.

Our objective was to sneak up on a enemy tank which was standing in F2kp6 (defending its flag), we ended up at E3kp3 and managed to forced the tank to RTB for repairs. However I have no recollection of this Chinook being shot down but I can see that there's a good possibility to shot a RTB-ing Chinook from the location we were at.
Seeing the log I wont argue that it wasn't wrong by you to ban me (and kick Pirkman) nor will I argue that the Chinook wasn't shot down by us. I just want you to know that I wasn't aware of it being shot down as my focus as a squad leader (and driver) was to focus the tank while also communicating with other squad leaders.

I'm glad that you didn't want to keep me permanently banned. I'm aware of the rules and I do follow them. Personally I didn't break them (imho) but I take responsibility of what happened. I'll have to be more careful in the future who I team up with when it comes to these kinds of asset squads.
