Anyway; I came home quite late and quite drunk and saw this in TS:

Most likely I ended up posting here (I have a vague recollection of doing that).

To the point. The challenge is quite serious. I am hosting a few Christmas Challenges for the 3dAC guys and among those is a TF2 tournament on the 22nd. It will be played in a standard 6v6 format with a standard layout of 2xScout, 2xSoldier, Medic, and Demoman. No glitch/bug exploits allowed, standard weapons + Blutsauger, Kritzkrieg, Übersaw and Crusader’s Crossbow, and reskins allowed, and a good humour.

In order to prepare for this we are currently running a TF2 server, and we will try and get as many 3dAC in there as possible on Tuesday and Thursday (you may come as well ). TF2 in itself is free and available here.


L4D2 of course has the requirement that you would have to own it, but a lot of people do already. We will simply play a 4v4 Versus match against you; hopefully we can get several 4v4 teams one each side so more can enjoy it. We will simply play a campaign in versus and see who wins! Rules are available here (mostly looking at illegal actions) but we should decide on a map together instead of a coin toss!

So NEW, are you up for the challenge?
