Firstly, GG's yesterday. Nice fight back from the Hamas side on Asad Kahl and some nice squad co-operation on Saaremaa.

As for next week, the suggestions so far sound reasonable.

We could start with Barracuda Vietnam
then I'd suggest Silent Eagle / Xiangshan / Pavlosk second. Especially Silent Eagle or Pavlosk as Xiangshan killed the server last time.
Lastly Tad Sae / Ghost train. The last few weeks we've had people leave the server after the first two maps, so hopefully a smaller, quicker map will keep enough people interested.

Thoughts?

Cheers, Murkey.

Next Week:
Honestly: I hate all the Pavlovsk layers since 1.3 having this huge harbor cap area. In addition to that all layers except INF are pretty favorable for US because they got better Air Assets and better APCs. So let's maybe take Silen Eagle.

Something about yesterday:

Asad Khal:
I was pretty pissed at Asad Khal.
I started building FOBs around our 1st white flag because we had about 15 active people on our side (3 KSKs, maybe 6 NEWs and some publics) in the beginning asI thought we're starting slow to seed the server.
I thought that the other team (15 ducks + x, including admins ) will think the same way - Well, I was completely wrong and faced 2 duck squads after building my 2nd FOB. There was no "real" other squad to fight them until more people arrived and so we we're heavily steamrolled in the beginning. (KD: 1:50)

I'm pretty sure that this won't happen next time again. If I see 15 people from one clan stacking on one side having only 40 ppl on the server:
- I will DEMAND everybody to have a slow start at the beginning and not rush as hell if teams are not balanced because people are still joining
- If this doesn't work I might need to distribute those guys (at least with that playerbase in the current round).

Saarema:
Balance pretty much sucked, cause the US team and its teamwork sucked.
- We got no trans pilots on Saarema (thanks to the APC guys, who did at least some transport)
- Assets had room for improvments (to stay politically correct)
- I had the Impression our Cobra was lost in Space. Whenever I reported nmy CAS they did not even try to approach. Might be subjective though.
- APCs had a terrible KD although they are very much superior (2LAV + 2 AAVPs with thermals vs. 1 BTR80A and 2 shitty BTR80s wo. thermals). I once got really upset as I requested APC trans back to a flag which the defending squad was about to loose it. The answer was: Our APC is capping. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the APCs main objective is not to cap a flag...
- Teamwork sucked. Squads were not helping out each other, there was no strategy at all. Comms in the SL Channel were pretty bad. There was more complaining then a proactive collaboration. Helping out other squads in trouble has not happened (at least not to me).

Fighting a team with 15-20 ducks + friends can only work if we got multiple clans on the other side with experienced squad leaders who are able to work TOGETHER and coordinate each other. However, yesterday comms and teamwork just sucked.

First of all they have one btr 80A and 3 80's

About case I was the Pilot of cas and we had to play defensivly as the russians have better air assets and we had only the Cobra up so we had to wait for cas callouts.
We the got multiple callouts but we asked for the specfic type of the cas since we thought the hind would only lour US into the havoc as soon as we got the specfic callout of the havoc we took it out with no problems at all.

Immediatly after we killed it we attacked auffiel just to get latted 450 m in the air not hovering which was disappointing...

I'm going to post the maplist later today, unless someone does it in the next couple of hours.

Barracuda ALT (Vietnam) | Silent Eagle (I guess STD?) | Ghost Train STD

I think there was a layer of Silent Eagle that had an issue with some CAS stuff? Bugged missiles maybe?

As for what Eichhoernsche says, I agree that the balance last week wasn't ideal and was very happy that as Asad Khal progressed things evened out. The 50:1 kdr was pretty bad after the first 20 minutes, but I don't think the issue was rushing. The IDF team built 3 FOBs before moving in as well, but from 2 squads, so we probably got across the river faster. After that I asked the rest of the team to dig in and let the fight build up in one area instead of an out-cap that would have hindered seeding (and spawning). Obviously the main cause was having lots of ducks turn up on time and then stack one side. This week we can be more conscious of balance, especially at lower server numbers and swap people around, at least for the first map, if not throughout.

Cheers, Murkey.

Qwai AAS STD
Shijia AAS LRG or INF?
Silent AAS ALT
As much as I love Silent Eagle Alt, we sadly shouldn't play it since the Hind-F (heavy hind) has bugged ATGMs in 1.3.1.
That's all I know I'm afraid.
