Could you unban me please?

I was banned about 30 mins ago for driving an Apc from the base without permission I think? Not really sure. I have not played Pr for a few years and was just getting to grips with it. My son was in the vehicle with me but he could not change kit for some reason. An instant ban seems rather extreme when a word from the admin would have been much more helpful. I think it's important to encourage / guide less experienced players as opposed to banning them for the slightest infringement. I think Bans should be reserved for idiots and disruptive players. Not noobs trying to find their way.

I'm the admin that banned you.

Good to see that you found your way into the forums.

I overreacted with the ban, i know. I should have warned you, and then kicked you. The instant ban was not the right thing to do.

Since you dont seem like a complete moron i'm gonna tell you what you did wrong

First of all: If you play on a server make sure to know the servers rules:
1. You can find some of them ingame by simply writing !rules in the chat.
2. You can find the full rule set here: http://newcommunity.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4

The rule says that you are not allowed to drive an armed vehicle by your own. (using it as a taxi)
If your APC has a gun on it, you need to have a gunner for it. That gunner also has to be in the gunner position.
If you can't request a kit, just wait 1-2 minutes and you should be able to request a new one, but never leave Mainbase without a gunner.
This counts for every vehicle that really needs a crew of minimum 2 men to be fully functional ( = APCs,Tanks, Attack Helicopters, some jets,...)
The only exeption is the AA vehicle. You can drive that one solo, because you can switch from gunner to driver position without getting a black screen.

So pls make sure you read and know the rules before joining a server, especially if you are a new player.

Since the ban was not right i will have you unbanned as fast as possible
BloodyDeed just has to find some time and read this.
