Hi all NEW members,

1. When have you been banned? (Date and time of the day(GMT +01:00)) - 24.04.2011 19:30(ish)

2. What was the reason? (The one displayed in the context menu after you dropped to the serverbrowser) - You have been BANNED from this server by server admin

3. Who was the Admin? - Don't remember the name unfortunatly

4. Mention your Ingamename - =SRF= Evil_CopyCat

5. Comment why you ignored our serverrules and why we should unban you - I started playing today Kokan 64 std, created Squad at 1:30 with asset name, without the knowledge of "No asset priority", as it wasn't stated in !rules.

Then comes second guy and duplicates squad, where I state that he is duplicating and reported him (again with no knowledge of the asset rule). He removes the squad and says in chat there is no such thing and takes my kiwoa at spawn time, I warned him with a bit frustration that I will shoot him if he does so and followed by answer "I'll ban you". This frustrates me because I was looking forward for a nice game and flying a bit. But no, an admin wants his toy and he will get his toy... Well i fire away two warning shots on the kiwoa, and same second I do it he types in !k for tk, when I did not even touch him or the warning of friendly fire comes. I wait my time and get back in server, helping running the supplies while thinking of what's doing next... and then I see the admin crash or get shot down over the base, well he exploaded over it. And I think for myself this is my chance, maybe I'll get a chance, I stand on the base after running some supplies for bradley sqd. At -1 minute he spawns in base, takes pilot kit, runs to the helipad and get lucky timer and gets in same second it spawns, it kind of pisses me off, i admit - I shot one single fire as warning shot again and he Bans me permamently for "tk" or as it stated "idiot"...

Now I do admit that I maybe should have gave it second thought about making that second warning shot but that was too late, and the actions was done.

So I request here to be unbanned for this unfair ban in my eyes as it was stated for being an "idiot" or "tk" (which never happened). I will keep in mind this day and further notice always know the server asset rule. I would like to have second chance please, as I respect your admins and the server but I feel that I deserve some respect back when I show the same, as I am not a griefer or a rookie. I come to your server to enjoy the game, not bitch about with an admin, but I feel that was unrespectful by the admin, as it was clearly that I intendet to take a kiwoa to have some fun and he felt that he wants the same thing and as there even no asset rule he should do what ever he wants. Please, even with asset rule not in place, I respect peoples needs and requests.

Anyway, all I ask is second chance, please and I'm sorry for my actions.

good to hear from you in the forum so fast.
I myself have not been on the server when this happened. You got banned by binary therefore you should hear from him soon.
Our asset rule is first come first serve and that counts for admins as well as for everybody else. So if you get into the heli first you can have it. Its not the case that if an admin wants to fly a chopper he can order you to get out and give it to him if you had it first. I do not want to go deeper into why we do not have an asset rule, but we discussed it for a long time until we decided so.
By the way you should never shot at your teammates at any time if you are not happy with the current situation. Thats what we have the forum for. If you start shoting at people you will be kicked/banned and you will not even make your point. Its better to take your frustration to the forum to discuss it.
But finally binary will have to decide if you will get unbanned right away.

Thanks for a fast reply I'll remember this server rule, and read the rest carefully here on forum, you're right frustration should not be taken out in actions rather in calm discussion, but under the frustrations heat and anger there can be actions that people regret later on. I'll keep eyes for binary

because i know you as a good teamplayer and a friendly guy in mumble - i would really appreciate it, if binary could give some thought to this ban.
usually we are doing prior steps like kick/timeban, instead of an instant perm ban.
(if u haven't done anything bad before)

I understand, take your time, I've been admin myself and know all the proceedure. I know my actions was wrong and hope the punishment will be fair. And for Binory, if it makes any difference I would like to apologize for my provocing actions as I should know best of most players out there, but as I said in frustration and heat of anger... judgement of situation gets cloudy

iam glad you came here.
I understand your frustration in not getting the Kiowa, we all love to fly it, dont we?

Here is the story from my point of view:

I opened a second Kiowa Squad at the beginning of the round (Your Squad was locked) while the time was counting down, after creating it I was reported for opening a duplicated squad by you guys, which happens from time to time, because ppl are unaware of our asset rule, which is no problem.
So I wrote into the chat that the asset rule is "First come, first serve", maybe you didnt see it at this time?
After your chat warning, speak "I will kill you..." i responded with a sloppy comment "I will ban you...", which maybe was wrong by me, because I think you got this wrong -> "Admin is gonna get his toy at all cost".

So on a short notice, I really try to avoid every kind of abusing my admin status, and since we have a lot of admins here (Everyone with a uppercase [NEW] Tag) which have an eye on each other, I wouldnt stay as an admin for even an single day if I would abuse admin rights in any way.

So after I got the first Kiowa at the beginning of the round, I was shoot (not dead, but bleeding with a black screen) by you, which resulted in a kick.

After I got the second Kiowa I was shot again, bleeding again...
This time it resulted in a ban.

I think we are both good players / pilots, and its always hard to see a random person crashing or wasting valueable team assets, in short I can understand your frustation.

Since you and your clan attracted my attention only as good teamplayer (Except for this single incident), I welcome you back on board, just try to avoid shooting guys if you didnt get a asset.

I'm sorry for critical wounds, I might been "self-busy" to pay attention to important messages from admins or at that time a player with no admin tag

Thank you for unban, I read the rules in the forum and will avoid any stupid actions that would lead to a ban with no warning
