The maplist suggestion thread

Got a maplist for an evening? Do you really want to play a layout which gets never played? Make a maplist and post it here.

A maplist should contain maps with different environments (urban, woodland, desert), except you want to give the maplist a theme (such as [NEW] Desert Operations) and should not be more than 3-4 maps. Take a look at the different layers, sometimes an INF or ALT layer is less played and more interesting to fight than just STD and LRG. Maybe even some INS or CNC instead of only AAS maps.

In the end it is up to the admins to accept your maplist, to suggest changes and set a date for your maplist to be played (of course can you post a suggestion for the date as well).

I would love to see some more underplayed maps and layouts!

What about

Gaza Beach CQ INF
Burning Sand INS Std
Yamalia CNC Std

This maps never played in this combination. I never played CNC on yamalia

Yamalia is quite funny on CnC. its easy to hide the fob in the dense forests on the small "islands".
its harder to have your team not staying to close to the fob or build dozen of assets around it

So when do play those maps then?

I will try to put Gaza Beach CQ INF and Burning Sand INS Std in our maplist this evening or maybe on the weekend.

If we have two strong and balanced teams we can also try to play a round CNC on Yamalia

When will they fix Operation Ghost Train already.

In my experience cnc only works on events. There are just too many people who dont know how to play it. Even during the cnc events there are always lots of SLs who have no idea how it works (Squadleader allchat: Game is bugged. I cant build a FOB).
